  • You need 1/4 cup of fresh coconut

  • You need 3 tbsp of rassam powder

  • It’s 2 tbsp of dalia

  • Prepare 3-4 of green chillies

  • You need 1 pc of ginger

  • It’s 4-6 of dry red chillies

  • Prepare 2 tsp of cumin seeds

  • You need As per taste of salt

  • You need 1/4 tsp of hing

  • You need For of Tadka:

  • It’s 1/2 tbsp of Oil

  • You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds

  • It’s 2 tsp of urad dal

  • It’s 1/4 tsp of hing

  • You need Few of curry leaves

  • It’s 1 tsp of red chilli powder

  • Prepare For of Final preparation:

  • Prepare 4-5 cups of water

  • It’s 1 of lemon juice or 1tbsp tamarind pulp

  • It’s Handful of coriander leaves

Steps

  • First dry grind all the chutney items in a mixer jar..
  • Then add little water and grind it in a smooth paste..
  • Transfer it to a big pan..
  • Add 3-4cup water and keep it for boil on a medium flame..
  • Heat a tadka pan, add oil.
  • Add all the tadka ingredients and sauté them for 2-3 mins..
  • Pour the tadka to boiling rassam chutney..
  • Add lemon juice/tamarind pulp & mix well..
  • Add more water if required and boil it again..
  • Garnish with coriander leaves..
  • Serve with idli, dosa or rice..
