My Tiramisu. I learned to make Tiramisu in Italy from my husband's family and this was every bit as good. Even better because this recipe cooks the eggs. I have two hints to pass along.
Ingredients

Prepare 300 ml of double cream, whipped

Prepare 4 of level tablespoons icing sugar

You need 180 ml of strong black coffee

It’s 6 tablespoons of brandy/shery

It’s 8 of trifle sponges (1 packet)

It’s 250 g of mascarpone cheese
Steps
- Let coffee cool and add alcohol.
- Lightly whisk the cream.
- Whisk together mascarpone, cream and icing sugar.
- Put half trifle sponges in dish and pour over half coffee mixture. The spoon over half the cream mixture..
- Repeat with another layer of sponge and cream.
- Smooth the surface and put grated chocolate or cocoa over to decorate if you want.
- Put in fridge for 2-3 hours before eating!.
How to Top A Tiramisu Recipe. I simply pipe little mounds of the sweet mascarpone mixture all across the top of my tiramisu and sprinkle with cocoa powder. My personal taste is, I should have let the lady Fingers absorb more Kahlua. I am preparing to make another and this time it is on like Donkey Kong as far as the Kahlua is concerned.
