Easy banana bread
Easy banana bread. The bread itself turned out to be a smaller loaf than what I've made in the past, and it was easy to make because of the few ingredients it called for. I've never made a really good banana bread until I tried this recipe this morning. I didn't measure the bananas, but used the four I had on hand that were mostly black on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. 2-3 of very ripe bananas

1/3 cup of melted butter

1 teaspoon of baking soda

Pinch of salt

3/4 cup of sugar

1 of large egg, beaten

1 1/2 cup of flour

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

of (Optional) chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350, and butter a 4×8 loaf pan
- In a mixing bowl, mash bananas and mix in melted butter
- Mix in baking soda, salt
- Stir in sugar, egg and, vanilla
- Mix in flour and chocolate chips (optional)
- Pour into loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes!
