
Salmon fingers
Salmon fingers. Place each fish finger in flour first, then in the egg mix and finally in the bread crumbs. These Salmon Fish Fingers are perfect if you're following a calorie controlled diet and fit well with any one of the major diet plans such as Weight Watchers. To shallow fry, heat the oil in a large frying pan on a medium-high heat. The children love good old fish fingers, so I thought that would be a great place to begin, with home made Norwegian salmon fish fingers. The ingredients needed to make Salmon fingers:

1 of salmon steak

1 of spray olive oil

1 of garlic salt

of dill sauce

1 tbsp of lemon juice

1 tsp of butter or margerine

1 tsp of dill

1 tbsp of sour cream

1 of mix ingredients in small saucepan. Stir on medium heat to make sauce.
Steps to make Salmon fingers:
- Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with aerosol olive oil.
- Remove skin if present. Cut salmon steak into ~ 1" x 3" (2cm x 6cm) strips and arrange on baking sheet
- If desired dribble dill sauce over salmon fingers
- Sprinkle salmon fingers with garlic salt
- Place under broiler set to high for 5 minutes.
- Remove baking sheet and turn salmon fingers. Repeat steps 3-5.
It is for King Salmon, also known as Chinook. Your ring finger stands for the Silver Salmon, also known as coho. Rinse the salmon fillet and pat dry with paper towels. Something as humble and everyday as a fish finger can be made more nutritious if you make your own, and even better, you can go jumbo in size. I like to use salmon, but white fish works well, too.
