salmon fried rice. We grilled up some fresh salmon the other day and had just enough leftover to toss into this fried rice dish. With the egg, peas, onions, ginger, garlic, and bell pepper, it's a meal in itself! All brought together with lightly sweetened soy sauce. Add onion and carrots saute until softened. In heavy skillet or wok over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. To cook salmon fried rice you need 7 ingredients and 7 steps quickly.

The ingredients needed to make salmon fried rice:

  • 1 1/4 lb of salmon

  • 1 of egg

  • 4 cup of rice

  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 pinch of black pepper

  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil

Steps to make salmon fried rice:

  • heat oil in fry pan. add whisked egg to fry
  • toss rice in the frying pan and stir fry with the egg until rice is heated evenly
  • add salmon in the middle of the rice
  • stir fry for 3-5 minute until salmon cooked
  • sprinkle salt,siy sauce and black pepper
  • stir fry for another minute or two
  • serve

Red chili peppers provide a little heat. What do you do with leftover salmon? Transfer the fried rice to a plate, top with the salmon, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. This recipe was created by a contestant during a cooking competition. It has not been tested for home.
