My Tiramisu

My Tiramisu. I learned to make Tiramisu in Italy from my husband's family and this was every bit as good. Even better because this recipe cooks the eggs. I have two hints to pass along.

Ingredients

Prepare 300 ml of double cream, whipped
Prepare 4 of level tablespoons icing sugar
You need 180 ml of strong black coffee
It’s 6 tablespoons of brandy/shery
It’s 8 of trifle sponges (1 packet)
It’s 250 g of mascarpone cheese

Steps

Let coffee cool and add alcohol.
Lightly whisk the cream.
Whisk together mascarpone, cream and icing sugar.
Put half trifle sponges in dish and pour over half coffee mixture. The spoon over half the cream mixture..
Repeat with another layer of sponge and cream.
Smooth the surface and put grated chocolate or cocoa over to decorate if you want.
Put in fridge for 2-3 hours before eating!.

How to Top A Tiramisu Recipe. I simply pipe little mounds of the sweet mascarpone mixture all across the top of my tiramisu and sprinkle with cocoa powder. My personal taste is, I should have let the lady Fingers absorb more Kahlua. I am preparing to make another and this time it is on like Donkey Kong as far as the Kahlua is concerned.
