Steps

  • First mix all dry ingredients and Sieve all the ingredients in a bowl..

  • Take thick bottom pan, place salt in the bottom and one stand. And switch on the gas for preheat the pan..

  • Make batter by mixing wet and dry ingredients. (Don't over mix) pour this batter in greased cake tin. Set this cake in preheated pan..
  • First cook 10 min on high flame. Then 10-15 on slow medium flame. Check with the toothpick that cake is cooked or not, if toothpick is clean it means cake is ready..
  • Remove cake tin from the pan and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Brush the top with milk, this will soften the top. Cool the cake and then unmould and place on a wire rack. Cover it using a muslin cloth so that it doesn’t dry out..
