Salmon and Vegetable Quiche

Salmon and Vegetable Quiche. In a small skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Sprinkle cheese in the crust; top with salmon and onion. My two year old son does not like green vegetables, but if I put them in this Quiche, he can eat lot of vegetables! To cook Salmon and Vegetable Quiche you need 10 ingredients and 5 steps easily.

The ingredients needed to make Salmon and Vegetable Quiche:

  • 200 g of salmon

  • 100 g of spinach

  • 1/2 of onion

  • 100 g of mushroom

  • 200 ml of milk

  • 2 of eggs

  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

  • 1 Tbsp of mayonaise

  • 1 of pie sheet

  • 1 cup of cheese

Steps to make Salmon and Vegetable Quiche:

  • Boil the spinach for about 30 seconds. Drain the water well by squeezing gently by hand. Cut into small pieces.
  • Slice the onion, cut the mushrooms and salmon into small pieces.
  • Put the milk, eggs, salt, pepper and mayonnaise into a bowl and mix them well. (if you prefer a richer taste, you can add 100 ml double cream and 100 ml milk instead of 200 ml milk) Add all the vegetables and salmon into the bowl and mix together well.
  • Roll out the pastry* to about 2 mm thickness and then lay it into a pie dish. Pour the vegetable and salmon mixture onto the pastry and cover with cheese. Preheat the oven to 190C/375F and bake for about 30 min.

The filling is super easy to make so it really comes down to the crust – ready made pie shell, store bought shortcrust pastry or homemade quiche crust. Serve this salmon quiche hot with a tossed salad and bread and butter if desired. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and sage, then blend until smooth. Spread salmon over the pie crust. Layer vegetable mixture over the cheese and top with the tomatoes.
